Happy New Year everyone! It has been a decade since I last posted. I have been so busy with wedding season. So many changes this year, I can’t wait to share all of the amazing details! First, I wanted to share a Fun shoot that I had with the amazing Alana Beall, Owner & Photographer of http://www.Vanitysedgedesign.com Alana is a dear friend of mine and I am honored to work with her always! I can’t wait to share all of the work we have completed this year for our fantasy series!
This particular shoot was for The Harford Style Magazine! The article was called Cool Closets! I was so excited when the editor wanted to cover some new material and asked Alana if she knew anyone for the job. Alana called me up and I nearly jumped over the moon!I LOVE YOU GIRL! I wanted to write an article that would help women to feel beautiful and find cool things without breaking the bank! So here are some tips to feel glamorous!
Look through fashion magazines and find some looks that you love! Not looks that are just trendy but things that you truly LOVE. Then it is time to shop! I love these places to find amazing deals and bargains. I hope you do too! The house of GW also known as GOOD WILL lover!!! I am not a fashion snob and neither is my wallet. If you have some time, and some vision, ladies you can find amazing designer deals. The clothes are in great shape, and inexpensive! I have found, Betsy Johnson clothes, Donna Karen, Vintage Couture pieces, and amazing accessories!!! You will love it! I love the one in Bel-Air, I find everything there! Just locate the one in your area, and let the search begin! Another amazing find: Nordstrom RACK located in Towson. Thursday is shipment day! They have gorgeous designer pieces marked down! I spend hours in here! Savers located in Perry Hall on Joppa Road! OMG, it is a HUGE thrift store! Amazing pieces: Ann Taylor, Forever 21, Banana Republic, just to name a few! Etsy & Ebay, two other amazing sites for the artist & fashionista at heart! Please check this out and make sure you have a glass of wine by your side, on a chilly night! You will love shopping on these sites! So many goodies.
Killer trash located in the heart of Baltimore: More vintage finds from every ERA! I just about die when I shop in here! This is for the eclectic soul, that says LOOK at me, I am a funky, sexy, HOMEGIRL! LOL! Also if you are looking for a cool Halloween outfit, look no more! I found the Vintage mint green dress in the picture in this store! Another heart stopper for me, is Ryan’s Relic’s located on Belair Road, I find vintage jewelry here and props for my photo-shoots. They also have the most amazing furniture if you are looking to do some interior decorating! Last but not least, your grandmother’s closet or even your mother’s!!! Below my gorgeous gram. This lady new how to work her style, bold & eclectic. She did not care a lick what anyone ever thought. My gram had the most beautiful things, every time I spent a day with her, I would go up to her closet and get lost in it. I always left with a vintage treasure. I miss you Gram! I hope you enjoy some of these tips. They key is to enjoy the things you buy! Beat to your own drum, and who cares if the trends do not work for you!
